Our Commitments
We Dare You to Be Fickle — and We Dare Ourselves to Do Better.
Fickle Baking Corporation is a premium Filipino cookie and indulgence brand operating across Metro Manila. We believe that how we run our business matters as much as what we sell. This page sets out our public commitments — to our crew, our customers, our suppliers, our community, and the Philippines we are proud to be part of.
Why We Exist
Our Vision
To be the cookie brand people reach for when they want to make someone smile — building the most loved indulgence and gifting brand in Asia, one shared moment at a time.
Our Mission
To craft cookies so good they make people want to share them — blending bold flavors, beautiful design, and the ease of modern gifting into experiences that bring genuine joy to everyday life.
Our Purpose
We exist because joy is better when it's shared. Fickle makes it easy — and irresistible — to give people you love a reason to smile, just because.
Through this purpose, FBC creates real impact: in the livelihoods and fair compensation of the crew who make Fickle possible, in the income and recognition of the Filipino farming communities whose ingredients we champion, and in the everyday moments of human connection our products exist to enable.
Our Human Rights Commitment
Fickle Baking Corporation respects human rights across all our operations and our supply chain. Our commitment is grounded in three internationally recognized frameworks: the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the International Bill of Human Rights, and the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
- We pay all crew at or above the mandated minimum wage for Metro Manila, with full statutory benefits.
- We maintain safe working conditions across all stores and the Central Kitchen.
- We do not engage in or knowingly benefit from forced labor, bonded labor, or child labor at any point in our supply chain.
- We do not discriminate in hiring, compensation, or treatment on the basis of gender, religion, ethnicity, age, disability, or any protected characteristic.
- We expect our direct suppliers to uphold the same standards we apply to ourselves.
Any person who believes FBC has fallen short of these commitments may raise a concern — see 'Raise a Concern' below.
Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion
We believe an inclusive company is a better company. FBC is committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of the Philippines, creating a workplace where every crew member feels seen, heard, and valued — and serving customers across all backgrounds, abilities, and needs.
- Fair wages — transparent, consistent, and never below the legal minimum.
- Inclusive hiring — standardized criteria, no bias-based requirements, open to all qualified candidates.
- Mentorship — every crew member has access to a structured development relationship from day one.
- Leave — we provide paid leave beyond what Philippine law requires, including birthday and personal vacation leaves.
- Suppliers — we work with indigenous-community, and small-scale Philippine producers.
Our JEDI commitments are reviewed annually. Our first public JEDI progress report will be published in 2027, and will include both our achievements and honest shortfalls.
B Corp Certification
Fickle Baking Corporation is pursuing B Corp certification under B Lab Standards V2.1. B Corp certification is a rigorous, independent assessment of a company's social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. We are committed to meeting the full standard and to being honest about where we are still building.

We are a small but growing Philippine F&B company. We do not have a large industrial footprint — but we believe every business has a responsibility to understand its environmental impact, reduce it systematically, and be transparent about both progress and limitations.
Local Sourcing — Our Biggest Climate Action
Our most significant environmental decision is where we source our ingredients. A cookie made from Philippine ingredients has a fundamentally shorter supply chain than one made from imported equivalents — lower transport emissions, stronger traceability, and a direct contribution to Filipino agriculture.
- Malagos dark chocolate — sourced from Davao, eliminating international shipping emissions from West Africa or South America
- Ube — native Philippine crop, domestic supply chain only
- Pili nuts — Bicol region, Philippines
- Barako coffee — Batangas, Philippines, heritage variety
- Coconut products — Philippines, the world's largest coconut producer
What We Measure
FBC tracks electricity and water consumption monthly across all stores and our Central Kitchen. We are building out waste tracking (hazardous, non-hazardous, and food waste) across all locations through 2026. We publish our environmental performance data annually.
Philippine Eagle Foundation — Rare by Nature
In April 2026, FBC formalized a conservation partnership with the Philippine Eagle Foundation (PEF) through the Rare by Nature collaboration. This is our commitment to Philippine biodiversity — the natural heritage that makes our ingredient story possible. A portion of proceeds from our Barako Boost and PEF collaboration products is directed to Philippine Eagle conservation funding.

Fickle Baking Corporation does not engage in lobbying of government officials, make political donations, or pay for third-party advocacy on our behalf.
If FBC ever engages in any form of public policy advocacy in the future, it will only be to contribute to a positive impact on society or the environment — never to undermine our purpose or the rights of any stakeholder group. Any such engagement would be based on reliable, evidence-based data, and disclosed publicly.
Any stakeholder with a concern about FBC's business conduct or lobbying practices may raise it through our grievance process above.
